Individual projects collect “half-tins” of leftover domestic paint from householders, unsold paint and damaged tins from local DIY outlets and manufacturers, and leftover paint from painters and decorators. The paint is sorted and stored at a project’s premises and then redistributed to local charities, community and voluntary groups and individuals in social need.
